पति पत्नी दोनों को एक ही स्थान पर नियुक्त करने के सम्बन्ध में (यदि दोनों सरकारी सेवा में हो)

The petitioner being appointed on the post of Assistant Teacher at Primary School Karkariya, Vikaskhand Kaudihar, Allahabad is seeking his transfer to Lucknow on the ground that her husband is posted at Lucknow and working as clerk in the Public Works Department. 

Learned counsel for the State informs that since it is a matter of transfer from one district to another district, it is the State Government who has authority to consider the petitioner's request on account of which direction is issued to the competent authority to the State Government to consider the request of the petitioner for her transfer from Allahabad to Lucknow and if, the transfer of the petitioner is not possible, then her husband may be transferred to Allahabad to facilitate the living of the spouse from Lucknow to Allahabad, keeping in view the Government Order dated 15.1.2010 contained in annexure no.5 to the writ petition, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 

With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed of.
